From the start of the module, I have enjoyed my time with my group and getting to know everyone. Usually, you only see some parts of a project in final presentations and the report, however here I am going to show some of my favourite moments:
The initial task set out to get us thinking which our group did on Parks and Civilisation. In the picture you can see a funny picture of each of us we decided to blend in to make it more fun! This was the 30 second clip we created for the starting task. I had a lot of fun collecting video and imagery for this and creating the voice narrative for it. Group meetings and talking about stuff. These were set for us to talk on the project however a lot of the time we would enjoy ourselves and talk about our hobbies and interests.Playing around with drawing together creating funny things relating to the project in some way.Postcard creation – this was a small task given however it gave me a chance to have some fun and be creative with style, trying something I have not done before. Then moving to creating the painting artefact which really got me to push my creativity to use.
Then we have the artefacts that my group members made which were all beautifully done and I want to show them! :
Here you can see a photo of one of Koni’s cooking shots! This was probably one of my favourite shots of her cooking showing slow-mo the process of lighting the gas.One of the most extravagant pieces for the narrative was Andrew’s ice sculpture! I was so impressed by his skill and here you can see the time-lapse of it melting which I think is just brilliant and you can see a clear link to climate change.
Andrew decided on exhibiting this in front of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth which fit perfectly and Jess went along to video the process.
Here is Jess and Andrew at the exhibiting of the ice sculpture! Sadly I was unable to attend but they had many people come along and it went brilliantly. This then all ended in us all being brought together for a zoom call to put the presentation together.
This all has been a brilliant journey from start to finish and having the final presentation today definitely ended with a bang!
